MUJI's flagship

RETAIL MADRID 2019 Flagship project for the japanese brand MUJI in the center of Madrid. It is a landscape space, playground distribution. The air space consists of matt white aluminum pillars, drawn one by one so that no two are alike, as in the case of trees. They have a groove with rolled shoji vegetable paper inside. This can be attached by a magnet to another pillar. The sky space consists of suspended polished aluminum pieces. They are distributed in grids according to each inter-beam space. They are placed on rails, which makes them rotate. Thus, through the air and the sky, the user participates, who can modify, inhabit and make the space his own. And in the middle of this forest of elements appears a pause. A hole in the slab from where a sculptural element hangs. A backlit heat deformed vinyl. A break from pillars, hanging pieces and furniture. A space for contemplation in which benches of their own design have been placed.
