REHAB, HOTEL BOUTIQUE MADRID 2020 Coffee - bar småsak, within the duquesa desueca boutique hotel project. småsak has been conceived and projected as an explosion of light and color, with a great wealth and variety of materials, finishes, textures and shapes. One of the main elements of this space is the access itself, which was born from the desire to dignify it. It is made up of a gallery of eight arches –which gradually decrease in height following the layout of one of the stair cores that is located just above it– and that culminates in a groin vault. Two of the arches of the vault lead to the bar, which has two entrances. Lighting is another great protagonist of this space. Suspended paper luminaires of different sizes and at different heights have been used, forming groups on the tables and the bar. The ceiling is reflective, made of aluminum tiles. The lighting is completed with LED profiles that run through some of the vertical walls of the space.
