REHAB, HOTEL BOUTIQUE MADRID 2020 DUQUESA DESUECA is a boutique hotel **** in the Palace of the Duchess of Sueca, located in Plaza del Duque de Alba, 2, in the center of Madrid. My main objectives have been to create a space that goes beyond conventionality, expressive, with its own personality and identity, rehabilitating an old building which has given me the opportunity to treat the spaces of a more delicate, respectful and conscientious way. The hotel reception is rectangular in shape, and is accessed through a bush-hammered brass arch. In this space we find the counter as the main protagonist, with its own design and two pieces, polished brass and a lower rectangular block of pink marble. It has a hole for lighting, to give a feeling of weightlessness to this piece. The lobby is located to the west of the main facade and has three large windows facing the street. It has an asymmetrical and fluid distribution, with three large curved sofas.
